We booked Paul and team to move few items. Marius and his friend arrived slightly late but he called early to inform about that. They were prompt, courteous and 'no-question-asked-just-do-the-job-right-and-make-customer-happy' type guy. I had a large Treadmill to move. On arrival to new place, it was bit too big for door size, Marius very promptly got his toolkit, disassembled and put it back inside. It was not starting up, he disassembled and checked the connections again. He did not have to do that, and I could see they were getting late for next appointment. I would use them again.

Do I need a parking permit for the moving van in Wixams?
Wixams is a unique, purpose-built development consisting of four distinct "villages." Because the infrastructure is relatively new and designed with off-road parking in mind, most residential streets do not currently require a formal local authority parking permit. However, the layout can be deceptively tight, especially in Village 1 (Lakeview) and parts of Village 2 (Willow Grove) where "visitor" bays are strictly monitored by private management companies.

If your new home is on a private road or managed estate, check for CPM (UK Car Park Management) or similar signage. While you usually don't need a permit for a van that is actively loading/unloading. Wixams falls under Bedford Borough Council; if your move involves parking on a main distributor road with yellow lines, you may need to apply for a Parking dispensation via the council website.

What is the best time to schedule my move?
​Wixams sits right on the A6 corridor, making it a prime location for commuters heading other nearby Towns. However, this means the entrance and exit points of the development—specifically the roundabouts connecting to the A6 and the B530—become major bottlenecks during peak hours.

The Pinch Point: The A6/The Causeway roundabout and the route toward the A421 Wilstead junction can see significant tailbacks between 7:45 AM – 9:00 AM. Additionally, because Wixams has several popular primary schools, the internal "feeder" roads like Green Lane and Bedford Road become congested with "school run" traffic.

Our Advice: Aim for a 9:30 AM arrival. This allows the A6 commuter traffic to clear and ensures the school-run parked cars have departed, giving your removal van much better clearance through the narrower residential loops.

We are able to supply up to four Luton capacity type vans to accommodate your moving needs.

Do you offer storage solutions?
While we do not provide storage directly, we are happy to recommend reputable storage facilities to meet your needs. We can transport your items to storage and collect for you and deliver if needed at a later date upon request.
